Book Week

For Book Week I was Dawn Schafer from the Baby-Sitters Club books. We had a great time doing the treasure hunt and me, Riley, Elisabeth and Arabella came 2nd!

My County

This is my country. / \  Miss Drummond printed out a few countries and i chose Russia. I chose Russia because my mum's family is from Russia. Something I learned is that they play handball just like us.

Anzac Pamphlet

Last week we did a Anzac pamphlet. I did it with Rosa and here it is. we had to search up an item from world war 1 and present our research. Mrs Drummond brought in the items. WW1 was sad because so many people died.

 

Mindful Colouring

 Yay it is the last week of TERM. We did mindfulness colouring as a relaxing activity and it was very fun and it helped me to remember my happy place. Here's mine but its not yet finished.We do it to calm yourself down.

Anzac

We had to write about a love letter to a family from a guy that was in World War 1.

Samuel Atkinson was 40 when he went war.  Before Samuel went to war he was a law reporter. Samuel Atkinson was born on the 9th of July 1874, Nelson, New Zealand. Samuel had a wife and six children which he loved.

My Animal Poster

 Mine's about quokkas. Did you know they are as small as a kitten and most active at night?  I chose to do quokkas because they are cute. And I was one of the first persons to finish my poster and it was EASY.
